Huge congratulations to the Kingsville Knights Select U13 team for taking GOLD at the Waterloo Ghostball Fastpitch Tournament! The girls went undefeated, battling not only tough teams like the Waterloo Ghosts, Southwest London Scorpions, Niagara Thundercats, and Etobicoke Chaos, but also rain, game delays, and diamond relocations — and came out on top! With stellar pitching, hot bats, and an unshakable never-quit mentality, they made history by bringing home the first gold medal in just our second year in the Select program. Our girls battled hard and came away with a well-earned silver medal, only dropping one game the entire tournament. Big wins included: 14-2 vs Lakeshore Storm, 13-9 vs Chatham Golden Eagles in a well-matched showdown and 20-6 vs Essex Stingers in a dominant semi-final performance. In the championship game, the Selects gave it their all, falling 6-11 to Forest Glade Falcons — but they never gave up. They fought until the very last pitch, showing heart and hustle.
